Health and Safety Expectations
When travelling with TMF, health and safety is of utmost priority. TMF upgraded its travel procedures to better support the well-being and comfort of all customers and employees.
TMF continues to evaluate all travel procedures making adjustments as needed.
TMF provides each traveler a personal drawstring bag containing a personal safety kit with hand sanitizer, a destination mask, sanitizing wipes and a destination t-shirt.
TMF provides no-touch forehead thermometers to help group leaders take the temperature of all travelers at director discretion.
TMF provides a box of disposable masks for each group as backup.
Airlines
TMF works with airlines that follow CDC guidelines and procedures including, but not limited to, requiring employees to wear masks at all times, routinely clean high touch surfaces with a hospital grade disinfectant, and encourages social distancing.
All travelers are required to wear a mask at the airport, while boarding and deboarding, as well as while on the aircraft.
Airlines provide hand sanitizer throughout the flight.
Airlines place plexiglass shields at airport service counters to provide extra protection.
Airlines board fewer customers at a time beginning from the back of the aircraft to the front.
*Individual airlines have additional health and safety policies/procedures to follow.
Charter Buslines
TMF works with bus companies that follow CDC guidelines and procedures, including, but not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing high touch areas in each bus, requiring drivers to wear a mask at all times, and that routinely checks their temperature.
TMF recommends each traveler to have an assigned seat on the bus for the entire trip.
TMF recommends the group to load each bus from back to front and unload from front to back, and maintain social distancing from others when entering and exiting the bus.
TMF recommends all travelers to wear their mask on the bus.
*Some companies may require travelers to wear their mask on the bus.
Hotels
TMF works with hotels that follow CDC guidelines and procedures including, but not limited to, requiring employees to wear masks at all times, that routinely clean high touch surfaces with a hospital grade disinfectant, and that encourage social distancing.
TMF requests groups to be accommodated in lower-level floors of the hotel to help avoid long elevator rides minimizing interaction with other hotel guests.
Other Attractions
Frequent sanitizing and disinfecting
Controlling daily capacity
Separate guests on ride & attractions
Minimize guest contact during security pre-screen
Temperature and/or health screenings are required at most establishments
Wearing of a mask at all times
Social distancing from other groups and customers at all times
Wash hands and use hand sanitizer regularly
Follow policies and procedures at all times
*Each destination has their own additional CDC Guidelines to follow.
By traveling with TMF, Group Leader confirms all guests are healthy and not experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov, including:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or small
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Have been in contact with someone confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a 14-day quarantine
- Are under any self-quarantine orders
To ensure the safety of the TMF staff, employees, students, guests, and vendors, TMF strongly recommends that you read and understand the above mentioned.
TMF’s priority is the health and safety of its travelers. If at any point on your trip you have questions or concerns, you may consult with your TMF host.

At the expense of the traveler, TMF will assist in making accommodations at the sole discretion of the director.
